The Mayors' City Selection Committee was established in accordance with Government Code section 50270. Its purpose is to appoint city representatives to boards, commissions, and agencies as required by law.
The committee is composed of the mayors from the cities of Blue Lake, Ferndale, Arcata, Eureka, Trinidad, Fortuna and Rio Dell. Meetings follow the Brown Act and are open to the public.
