The Humboldt County Fish & Game Advisory Commission was formed on July 10, 1956 by Board Order and reorganized on June 3, 1964. This commission was established to serve in an advisory capacity to the Board of Supervisors in all matters concerning fish and wildlife within the County of Humboldt.
Meetings
This commission meets the third Tuesday of each month at 6 pm. These meetings are held at the Elk's Club located at 445 Herrick Ave. in Eureka.

Members
There are 15 members who serve on the Fish & Game Advisory Commission. The Supervisor of each district shall appoint three members (not required to live in district) and may appoint up to five associate non-voting members that serve at the pleasure of the Board. Terms expire on June 30 - 4 year staggered terms (District 1, 2, 3 and District 4, 5 expire three years apart).
