2. PUBLIC COMMENTS

   This is the page for citizen participation regarding a potential application to the California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) for a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) in the total amount of $3.6 million for Eligible Activities that will improve livability within the community, especially for those with low to moderate income levels.

   Public comments are welcome. Write in the  "Type comments here" box below. 

4. ELIGIBLE ACTIVITIES

   CDBG has published a Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) that defines eligible activity types as:

   1. Public Service and Planning (maximum $300k)
   2. Housing Programs or Economic Development Programs (maximum $1.5M)
   3. Public Facilities Projects, Infrastructure Projects, and Housing Projects (maximum $1.8M)

   Additionally, eligible activities must meet CDBG's National Objective of benefiting low- to moderate-income individuals or households.
