    5. Do you have a permanent Humboldt County Library Card and is your account in good standing?*

      Express Cards and eAccounts are not eligible for this program. Permanent library card holders with outstanding fines exceeding $5 are also not eligible.

    7. Have you requested a Zip Book for this current month? *

      Each patron can request 1 Zip Book per calendar month. Your previous Zip Book must be returned before requesting another.

    9. Have you checked the library catalog to make sure the library does not already own this title?*

      You may request a book we own in a different format (large type, audiobook, other language, graphic novel adaptation, etc.) Check the library catalog.

    11. Was this title published over a year ago?*

      Only titles published over a year ago qualify for this program. Fill out and submit a New Book Suggestion Form instead if the item is less than a year old.

    13. Is this title available as a new copy through Amazon Prime?*

      Search Amazon for this title. Your request will not be processed if it's not available as a new copy through Amazon Prime.

    15. Does the item meet the cost criteria for the program?*

      Cost must not exceed $35 for a print book or $70 for an audiobook on CD, before taxes.
