Voluntary Benefits

Voluntary Benefits Program

The Voluntary Benefits Program consists of a number of valuable insurance plans that complement your employer-provided benefits package and provide additional financial security for you and your family.

Amben Flexible Spending Account (FSA)

An FSA is an employer-sponsored benefit account that allows you to set aside pre-tax funds to help pay for eligible healthcare expenses.  An FSA is a great spending vehicle to help pay for healthcare costs not covered by your health plan.

Amben Dependent Care Account (DCA)

A DCA is a flexible spending account that allows you to set aside pre-tax dollars for dependent care expenses. Since DCA contributions are deducted from your paycheck pre-tax, your taxable income is reduced. Participants enjoy a 30% average tax savings on their annual DCA contribution.

Empower Retirement Planning and Deferred Compensation Plan (457b)

Employees are eligible to enroll in a Deferred Compensation Plan (457b) through Empower. Empower can assist employees with discussion of investment choices, retirement goals and schedule individual appointments with employees.

The GSFA's "Assist to Own" program may provide eligible employees with down payment assistance for purchase of a home. For more information, please visit their website here or call 855-740-8422.  Please note, eligibility for this program is determined exclusively by the GSFA.
