On Mar. 24, 2026, at approximately 9:40 p.m., a Humboldt County Sheriff’s sergeant conducted a traffic enforcement stop on a vehicle in the 2500 block of Harris St. in Eureka. The driver of the vehicle was identified as 42-year-old Melissa Dale Parker of Eureka who was on active felony probation.
Per the terms and conditions of her probation, Parker was subject to search and seizure at anytime and was not to use, possess, traffic drugs or associate with drug traffickers.
During a search of the vehicle, deputies located approximately 30 grams of methamphetamine in Parker’s possession. Parker was arrested and transported to the Humboldt County Correctional Facility and booked on the following charges:
HS 11350(a) – Possession of a Narcotic Controlled Substance
HS 11377(a) – Possession of a Controlled Substance
HS 11395(b)(1) – Possession of a Controlled Substance w/2 or More Priors
PC 1203.2(a) – Violation of Probation
