In 2004, California voters passed Proposition 63, known as MHSA, which placed a 1 percent tax on personal incomes greater than $1 million to fund the development and expansion of mental health services for children, youth, adults and older adults.

Community input is a vital component of developing the Annual Update, which will outline Humboldt County’s MHSA-funded programs from 2021 through 2022.
