The Humboldt County Workforce Development Board, in collaboration with the North Far North Regional Consortium, Humboldt-Del Norte Medical Society, College of the Redwoods, Cal Poly Humboldt and the Redwood Coast K-16 Educational Collaborative, is proud to present the first ever Humboldt Medical Education and Workforce Summit.
Event Details
The Humboldt Medical Education and Workforce Summit will focus on shaping the future of healthcare education and workforce development in Humboldt County. This event, offered at no cost, is designed for community members who are professionals in healthcare, education or workforce development.
The event will be held on Friday, Oct. 10, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., at the Blue Lake Casino Hotel’s Sapphire Palace, located at 777 Casino Way in Blue Lake. Doors open at 8 a.m.
This summit will include thoughtful panel discussions, interactive breakout sessions and collaborative dialogue focused on strengthening Humboldt County’s healthcare talent pipeline. Participants will explore challenges and opportunities the local healthcare system faces and work together to develop actionable strategies to meet local workforce needs.
