Story Time is Great for Children

Children who often hear stories read aloud learn how to listen, learn more words and how to use them, and absorb new facts and ideas. 

In the adventure of story, kids also grow in imagination, problem-solving and creativity. Kids who listen to stories are better prepared for life and school. Story time at the library builds a child's interest in reading and teaches skills that can become a lifelong advantage.
