Get Creative and Showcase Your Artistic Talents:
Participate in Humboldt County Public Library's Fourth Annual Tiny Art Show

If you are developing your skills as an artist or if you just love to make art, consider taking part in the Humboldt County Public Library’s fourth annual Tiny Art Show. 

The library’s Tiny Art Show is a countywide exhibition made up of miniature works of art, created by the community and displayed in all Humboldt County Library branches. Participation is free and open to artists of all ages and talents. All interested community members are encouraged to participate.

How to Participate

Visit any Humboldt County Library branch or the Humboldt County Bookmobile to pick up a free tiny art kit, while supplies last. In the kit there will be a small canvas that participants can use to create their work of art. Participants can use any art medium they prefer to decorate the tiny canvas. Groups or classes may also fill out an online form to request a group art kit for groups of 10 or more individuals who wish to participate together. Kits are available now, and they go quickly, so be sure to stop by your local library to pick one up if you are interested in participating.

Completed artworks must be turned in by Friday, Aug. 29 to your local library to be showcased in the library’s Tiny Art Show for the month of September. For more information, please visit your local library, the Bookmobile, or call 707-269-1915.
