Event Details
POWER CA 2025 will bring together global investors, state leaders, local innovators and community partners to explore the future of clean energy in California.
The event will be held May 7–8 at the Bear River Tish-Non Community Center in Loleta, highlighting Humboldt County’s leadership in offshore wind, solar, hydrogen and sustainable infrastructure.
POWER CA partners include a range of local, state and industry leaders, such as: the California Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development, the Senior State Advisor for Offshore Wind California, Redwood Coast Energy Authority, Humboldt Transit Authority, Schatz Energy Research Center, Humboldt Bay Harbor District, Vineyard Wind, Blue Lake Rancheria, Humboldt County Office of Education, College of the Redwoods and Cal Poly Humboldt.
To keep the event accessible and focused, POWER CA has been streamlined into a two-day format. As part of these changes, the previously scheduled “STEAM the Streets” keynote has been removed and meals will not be provided. Attendees are encouraged to explore the many local dining options in the Eel River Valley.
While the event has been streamlined, POWER CA 2025 will continue to feature a dynamic lineup of interactive and informative sessions covering:
- Renewable energy advancements in the offshore wind, solar and hydrogen energy sectors.
- Building sustainable energy into the future through policy, investment and energy transition strategies.
- Case study presentations on successful renewable energy projects in rural communities.
- Investment opportunities providing exclusive insights into California’s renewable energy funding.
- Discussions led by thoughtful leaders on shaping the future of renewable energy and pathways leading to net-zero goals.
- Community-guided site visits.
POWER CA is an official SelectUSA spinoff event focused on renewable energy, one of only 16 across the U.S.
The event serves as the perfect opportunity to connect with renewable energy industry pioneers, engage in insightful discussions, network and dive into the future of sustainable energy.
