On Jan. 10, 2022, at about 12:47 a.m., Humboldt County Sheriff’s deputies on patrol in the area of Bear Paw Way in Loleta observed a vehicle with false registration tabs.

Deputies contacted a female, identified as 37-year-old Teresa Roseann Olan, inside the vehicle. Olan was found to have an outstanding felony warrant for her arrest. Also during their investigation, deputies learned that the vehicle had been reported stolen out of Eureka.

Olan was taken into custody and booked into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility on charges of possession of a stolen vehicle (PC 496d(a)), resisting a public officer (PC 148(a)) and violation of probation (PC 1203.3(a)(2)), in addition to a warrant for violation of probation.
