The Humboldt County Department of Public Works will be conducting work on the Lindley Bridge on Lindley Road, a .25-mile Northeast of Mattole Road, in the Honeydew area.

Crews will be repairing and replacing wooden deck boards on the Lindley Bridge.

Road work will begin Monday, April 6 through Monday, April 20. The bridge will be closed while work is in progress from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will allow traffic through between 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.

Travelers are asked to drive slowly and follow all traffic control devices and road signs in the project area. Thank you for your patience while repair work is in progress.

Humboldt County roads need a lot of work and Humboldt County Public Works acknowledges residents may encounter a maintenance issue on a county-maintained road. Community members are encouraged to submit a service request if they experience a maintenance issue. A request for service on a county road may be submitted to the Public Works Department’s Roads Division by calling 707-445-7421 or placing a request for service online.
