The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office invites the public to Coffee at the Farm, a free, family-friendly event at the Sheriff’s Work Alternative Program (SWAP) Farm on Saturday, August 2, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at 2300 Airport Road in Fortuna.
Guests will begin their visit with a hayride through the fields before being dropped off in the heart of the farm, where they can enjoy coffee, snacks, and see what the SWAP program is all about.
This unique event offers a chance to feed the pigs, explore the greenhouses and gardens, learn how the SWAP program supports rehabilitation, see Sheriff’s Office equipment such as the Bearcat, Transport Van, and drone, and meet members of our team, including K-9 handlers and program staff.
Whether you're curious about how the program works or simply looking for a fun afternoon with the family, this is a great opportunity to connect with your local Sheriff’s Office and learn more about second chances through meaningful work.
