On March 27th, 2025, Agents with the Humboldt County Drug Task Force served a multi-location search warrant for Gabriel Zachariah Giraud (age 49), and his associated residences located in the 700 block of Sea Ave. in Eureka and the 400 block of 8th St. in Eureka. During the months of February and March, the HCDTF received information that Giraud was selling large quantities of fentanyl in Humboldt County.
Upon HCDTF’s arrival at both locations Agents located 1 ½ pounds of fentanyl, packaging materials, scales, pipes, and other drug paraphernalia. Giraud was not present at either location.
At the conclusion of this investigation, the HCDTF will be requesting an arrest warrant for Giraud for the following charges:
11351 HS Possession on narcotics for the purpose of sales
11366.5 HS Operating/maintaining a drug house
368(b)(1) PC Elder/dependent adult abuse
