Today, Humboldt County District Attorney Maggie Fleming announced the hiring of Deputy District Attorney Candace Myers. Ms. Myers, a graduate of Humboldt State University and McGeorge Law School, was most recently employed by the Eureka City Attorney’s office. Prior to that she had interned and worked as a misdemeanor Deputy District Attorney in the Sacramento District Attorney’s office. She will be assigned a misdemeanor caseload as well as workers’ compensation fraud cases.
